  • Architect, Identify problems and Develop Technical Solutions aligned with the underlying business needs of the customer
  • Drive Pre-sales Engagements with initial designs and architecture to deliver strategic projects
  • Articulate and breakdown simply, the value of a determined IT solution to C-level Executives, Technical Management and Engineering
  • Build deep consultative relationships by becoming a Trusted Advisor and Customer Advocate throughout all verticals in each customer account
  • Partner with Account Executive to drive adoption of VMware technologies and help existing customers with Enterprise License Renewals 
  • Conduct presentations, product demos and Proof-of-Concepts to showcase the importance of the given solution
  • Leverage the internal Specialist Business Units to further define and validate technical strategies and desired outcomes for the customer
  • Participate in company wide marketing events to drive VMware partners and solutions
  • Ensure any proposed solutions have been technically validated and tracked in Salesforce
  • Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of the entire VMware portfolio while also maintaining proficiency in VMware's service offerings, road maps and value propositions
  • Stay current with Industry Trends and Competitor's Solutions in comparison to VMware's product-line
  • Utilize the culmination of years in regards to industry knowledge and experience such as Software Defined Data Centers, Cloud Platforms, Infrastructure Migrations, Business Continuity, and more in order to see the "Big Picture" and develop Future State Architectures to customer challenges
