- Architect solutions tailored to the specific business needs of customers, identifying problems and developing technical strategies in alignment with their objectives
- Drive pre-sales engagements by initiating designs and architectures, delivering strategic projects that address customer requirements
- Clearly articulate the value of IT solutions to C-level Executives, Technical Management, and Engineering by simplifying complex concepts
- Cultivate strong consultative relationships, serving as a Trusted Advisor and Customer Advocate across all verticals in each customer account
- Collaborate with Account Executives to promote the adoption of VMware technologies and assist existing customers with Enterprise License Agreements
- Deliver presentations, product demos, and Proof-of-Concepts to highlight the significance and effectiveness of proposed solutions
- Utilize internal Specialist Business Units to refine and validate technical strategies, ensuring alignment with customer objectives
- Participate actively in company-wide marketing events to promote VMware partners and solutions
- Ensure technical validation and tracking of proposed solutions in Salesforce
- Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the entire VMware portfolio, including proficiency in service offerings, roadmaps, and value propositions
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor solutions, comparing them with VMware's product line to inform strategy
- Apply extensive industry knowledge in areas such as Software Defined Data Centers, Cloud Platforms, Infrastructure Migrations, and Business Continuity, to develop comprehensive Future State Architectures addressing customer challenges
