I have never played the original gameboy version but this remake was fantastic! It completely reminded me of the old A Link to the Past on the SNES.
Gameplay was phenomenal like all the other Zelda titles and the writing for the NPC characters was hilarious.
I was completely stuck in the beginning of the game for a solid 15-20 minutes before I realized I could move the spikes with my shield lol. Other than that, I don't recall there being any too difficult puzzles during the rest of the game.
I'm glad I got a chance to play this on my mini-vacation I took from work. Now I really need to go finally play and finish Breath of the Wild.
