Don't really know what to think of this film. I mean, I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it too much either. It had that Arrival feel but wasn't executed half as good. I supposed I just really hated the drama flashback aspects of the film.
Then of course, us humans were able to use some bomb to completely destroy the alien Shimmer which was a dumb conclusion. Actually, the more I write about this, the more I start disliking it. I'll stop now 😛
