Finally finished this series. I liked the new spin on vampires and because of Guillermo del Toro the designs are very similar to the vampires in Blade II.
I loved the whole story behind The Master, The Born and the Occido Lumen. I really disliked the main character and I absolutely hated his son Zack. That punk kid deserves a worse fate than the one he got in the show.
They don't make too much shows quite like this recently, so I'm glad I went through to my backlog to finally finish it. After four seasons it does feel complete but I'm pretty sure they can do a spin off about it if there was most interest.
Either way del Toro needs to make another show like this as his creature designs are friggin terrifying.
