Not sure why the main character decided to digitize those old tapes after seeing the place he'd be staying at. That would be a huge NOPE for me!
The show has some similarities to Stranger Things with the whole other world where the demon Kaelego resides. I really can't wait to see what they are going to do now that Dan is stuck in the demon world and Melody is out but hasn't aged.
Cult based shows/films are always the creepiest.
