Been meaning to play this title since it came out on the Nintendo Switch. Finally went through this entire game on the Steam Deck.

I loved every minute of it. I almost couldn't even put it down. This game aligns with the style of JRPGs I've grown-up playing.
All the individual stories were interesting. Some more interesting than others but good enough to want to see them all through to the end. I would have preferred all the stories to have converged into one main narrative rather than being standalone.
There was a specific special side quest where you battle basically the end game boss after doing a series of tasks. This was truly end game stuff as it was extremely challenging.
In the end, I love the art style and wish that Square-Enix would remake Final Fantasy VI like this.
