Film was pretty hilarious. Very similar to Slither or Tucker and Dale vs Evil type of horror comedy.

Premise was a bit out of this world. Girl hooks up with a dude, then a day later is preggo. She has a pretty great attitude about the whole situation but then gives birth to some creepy animatronic looking alien that essentially destroys everyone.
Anyway, her old bestie helps her and they reunite since one of them got a bit too cool and stopped hanging out. Some key members of the town band together and help to take down this alien which was born out of a mist embedded in a statue with a raging 8===D.
In the end, it was entertaining and I'm glad my bro put it on my radar.
